Position Location: Greensboro, NC
The Consumer Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing specific consumer-facing marketing plans based on corporate and market-level objectives. Works with Corporate Marketing & Downstream Sales to establish standards and procedures related to marketing and promotion of specific products and brand recognition at the consumer level.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
- 5+ years of Marketing management experience, preferably promoting ingredient brands to consumer brands at the retail level. Marketing experience at the brand or consumer level is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Able to make decisions, Excellent organizational skills, Great attention to detail
- Ability to work professionally in a team environment with flexibility to handle multiple priorities.
- Highly collaborative, excellent follow-through skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, in and outside of the organization.
JOB DUTIES:
- Travel Required 60% – 70%
- Develop and execute a strategy to promote products and ingredient brands to consumer-recognized brands at the retail level
- Work with brands and retailers to create and deliver marketing programs driving name recognition opportunities for company’s products
- Initiate and develop relationships with key retailers and establish successful marketing programs and partnerships
- Work with retail and brand teams to plan in-store and at-retail communication tools and promotional materials
- Determine metrics to measure & monitor success of programs and provide recommendations to guide future programs
- Create, manage and track applicable budgets to ensure performance expectations are met and exceeded
