WorkForce Carolina – Top 10 in Triad’s Fast 50

SEPTEMBER 23, 2011 – WorkForce Carolina (WFC) is proud to announce that, for the third time since 2006, it has been recognized by The Business Journal as one of the 50 fastest-growing privately-held companies in the Piedmont Triad. WFC ranked #9 in the rankings compiled for this year’s list.

“We are very excited to be recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the Triad. There are many, many wonderful companies in this region and to be chosen as one of the fastest growing is quite an honor for us,” commented Teresa Lewis, CEO & President of WFC. “We are so fortunate that, following the Great Recession, our clients and employees remained loyal to us and gave us the opportunity to grow.”

WFC provides contingent labor to industrial facilities throughout the Piedmont Triad region. As the recent recession wore on and economic uncertainty became the norm, firms that rely on labor to manufacture products or provide services found themselves in a difficult decision-making environment: they needed labor but had to be cautious about hiring full-time employees. By turning to or expanding their use of contingent labor, many firms were able to weather the recession. WFC was there to aid these firms during that time and saw tremendous growth as a result.

WorkForce Carolina received this recognition at a special ceremony on September 22 held at The Alumni Center on the campus of North Carolina A&T University. Accepting the award on behalf of WFC was Traci Hamilton, Sales & Marketing Director. “This is an amazing honor to receive. The staff at WFC is phenomenal and without their dedication we could not have achieved this award,” stated Hamilton.

The Fast 50 Awards are compiled by The Business Journal and certified by Smith Leonard Accountants & Consultant. The rankings are based on a minimum revenue amount for 2010 and percentage growth from 2008 to 2010.

Help support the MDA!

Our very own Saroya Ceasar is getting “locked up” in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

I’m excited to tell you that I have chosen to serve as an MDA Jailbird and am being Locked-Up…that’s right, I’m going behind bars to help Jerry’s Kids©. In order to be released on good behavior, I need your help to raise my “bail.”

My bail has been set at $2,400.00 and if everyone I know makes a tax-deductible donation, I’ll reach my goal quickly!

Just click here to make a secure, online donation before 09/21/11. This is a fun event benefiting individuals and families served by MDA who are affected by neuromuscular disease. I am honored to partner with MDA, and help this important cause.

Don’t hesitate to call or e-mail me with any questions.

Thanks in advance for your help. Together we’ll make a difference!

Saroya
